RT5796D为高效率的同步降压型DC/DC转换器。输入电压范围为2.5V至6V，可调输出电压为0.6V至3.4V，输出电流可达1.5A。由于内建同步低导通阻开关可增加效率并不需外加萧特基二极管。
由于具有内部补偿机制的电流模式固定导通时间(CMCOT)操作，可允许系统在大范围的负载变动、输出电容变化的操作条件下仍有优良的瞬时响应特性。RT5796D支持TSOT-23-5和TSOT-23-6封装。
